Josh Edington-Lalande (from Land Arhitecture) has been exceptional to work with on our villa renovation project in Remuera. We were lucky enough to be recommended Josh and have not been disappointed!
We planned a general refresh with new bathrooms and kitchen on our heritage villa but ended up undertaking anextensive house renovation over 12 months incorporating a number of creative ideas from Josh.
We found Josh to be personable, professional, knowledgeable and clear in his communications and organization. Josh always provided ‘options’, that considered budget, time, design and purpose. We never felt pressured, and always felt fully informed. Josh works confidently alongside other trades, especially our builder, and they too considered him an asset to their team.
Josh’s ideas and attention to detail are superb and his ability to ‘pivot’ to the unexpected is a real credit – there’s always a ‘few surprises’ when you peel back the layers of a 100 year old home! Nothing was too difficult for Josh, he confidently takes the lead when required and offers valuable contributions to the entire build team.

We had an excellent experience working with Josh. He helped design the renovation of our new kitchen, existing bathroom, powder room and laundry, and also a solution to address our lack of storage.
His designs were thoughtful, practical, and elevate the functionality of our home.
This was our first time working with an architect and navigating the consent process. We really appreciated how easy he made everything. He guided us through each step, explaining things clearly and ensuring the whole process felt manageable and stress-free.

He guided us through the preliminary investigation and design process for the site and at times, has literally held our hands on site to climb on up! We have a very challenging site and Josh has helped us deal with the challenges of Resource Consent and Contractors.
